This course is located in Philadelphia's famous Fairmount Park and has been around for more than eighty years. It was designed by the same genius that designed Merion East. However, this course is really mediocre at best. To me, the staff really struggles to keep the course in good condition. Cobbs Creek features two 18-hole courses that experience some serious golfing traffic, which may explain their condition. I found many of the holes to be unrealistic. There is a 600 yard par-4 for crying out loud. I also found the daily rate to be a little high considering the condition and layout of the courses.
