This tip applies to every aspect of golf, and comes from one of the greatest coaches of all time. Vince Lombardi once said "Practice does not make perfect, Perfect practice makes perfect." Lombardi could not have been more right. However in golf there is no such thing as perfect, so "Perfect practice makes better."
Here is what I am getting at: how many times do you go to the driving range and hit ball after ball with the same club? Now ask your self this question: How many times on the golf course go you get to hit the same club twice in a row? Answer: almost never. I guess if you hit the ball out of bounds all day you will be hitting the same club twice all day, but this is what we are trying to avoid.
So next time you are practicing try hiting a different club each and every swing. Play a course on the range. Hit a driver, next hit a seven iron, now hit a wedge. We need to practice changing the positioning of our body in relationship to the ball as much as we need to practice the swing. Every club is a different length and is swung on a different plane so we need to be comfortable and confident in changing our body position!!
Try this for a month, and I promise you will see dramatic changes in your ball striking and accuracy!!!..

The grip is the cornerstone of any swing. A bad grip can destroy a good swing, and a good swing is built around a good grip...
In my many years observing golfers of all levels I have been witness to some very strange ways of holding the club.... I have even seen a few people try the left hand low (for a right handed golfer, not cool, or easy).
Every quality (by quality I mean someone who has a chance of shooting in the 70s) golfer I have come across has had a grip that is not extreme in any way.. not to strong not to weak,, not to tight, not to loose, not all fingers, not all palm. Like most actions in golf the grip is nothing to extreme...
The grip does not have to be that complicated... Just hold the club in a way that feels comfortable and that allows you to hit the most quality shots... Most important have fun and if it is not working, try something new...

I love my Cleveland 460 comp driver. This is one of the most underrated aspects of golf. Loving your equipment is as important as loving your wife. If you look down at your driver and say “wow that’s an ugly driver” how do you expect to hit a good shot. Find a driver you love to look at, and when that day comes that that old driver looks ugly go buy a new one!!!!

Why do I Slice?
1. You aim to the right of the fairway and swing to the left.
2. You stand too close to the ball causing heeled shots.
3. You stand too far from the ball not allowing you to release.
4. You lunge forward during your swing, leaving the club behind you.
5. You are holding the club like you are trying to choke it.
You are right. but if you cant hit a ball you cant hit a ball! Tell someone whith a 20 handicap to hit a different club each time and that person will get no where.
The proper way to hit a chip shot
1. Keep your weight to the left (for a right hand golfer)
2. Move your hands ahead of the ball
3. choke up a bit on the club
4. position the ball near your back foot.
5. focus on making good contact.
